From A(sea) to Z(rii)

As you might have noticed and as I have been told ... (I'll take it as a compliment....lol), talk with much fervor of two new products I believe are the greatest nutritional supplements ever. If you follow me on Twitter or have become a fan of my Facebook pages or even have kept up with me on my blog, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

I'm not talking about an average product or even a great product for that matter, but an exceptional product in the health and wellness industry. The really great products I currently take and will continue to take are just that...great. However, with ASEA and Zrii, they're exceptional!

For those that know me, you know I am very particular about everything, especially when it comes to nutrition. Yes, I believe you should supplement with a quality vitamin/mineral, fish oils, vitamin D3, antioxidants, and if necessary probiotics and digestive enzymes and herbs on a daily basis for prevention, including the common cold as it all goes back to having a healthy and strong immune system.

Starting with ASEA which I was introduced to last September.

The people who founded ASEA I believe have found the single greatest breakthrough of modern medicine in the field of health and wellness we have ever seen or will see in our lifetime. It is truly a health discovery as it's changing lives unlike anything else available. Seriously how many people know about reactive molecules? Several months ago, NONE.

If your health problems have anything to do with cells, ASEA with all it's reactive molecules will mimic those of healthy cells allowing your body to heal. Redox signaling and communicating the right messages to your cells is a little complicated to understand, I agree. For further information on this ground breaking technology, I highly suggest you Google "redox signaling." Redox signaling helps your body. Trillions of molecules in a highly patented process goes into your cells to make them healthy. According to the booklet, "The Science of Healing Revealed" written my Gary L. Samuelson, PhD, all the antioxidants in the world are not going to help you as effectively if your cells are not healthy in the first place. Which brings me to Zrii.

Zrii was founded in 2007 and is headed by Bill Farley, Founder and CEO. Think "Fruit of the Looms" and you know who Bill Farley is. Zrii and it's products are endorsed by the well known and prestigious Chopra Center. Alright, here's an incredible product in the field of health and wellness I just have to share with everyone: ASEA

ZU-B Health Drink

I have finally found a liquid nutritional supplement I really, really like and want to share it with you.  It's ZU-B (pronounced zoo-be), a product that was recommended to me by the health nutritionist at Pioneer Comprehensive Medical in Draper.  I like it not only because I feel a remarkable difference, but I sleep extremely well and feel very rested even if it's only 5 hours of sleep.  It's an all-in-one formula that has an acceptable, mild taste and is packed with essential vitamins, essential minerals, antioxidants and amino acids to help you either attain or maintain peak health and fitness.

ZU-B started here in my hometown and only distribute their products to certain doctors and one health fitness center to ensure quality control.  So, unfortunately there aren't many outlets where you can find ZU-B Complete and ZU-B Zzz's.  However, you can order it online at ZU-B.com.

Believe me I have tasted and tried a lot of different nutritional supplements and I always found myself going back to New Vision, for the past 8 years.  Their product line is outstanding, (which I still contribute to the reason why I was able to get pregnant with Sophie); for me, this is tantamount to tasting good.  New Vision is known for having the best tasting essential liquid mineral anywhere.  However, I can honestly say, ZU-B, which is German for "to....To Be" is a complete nutritional supplement that will replace everything else I'm currently taking, including New Vision.  That's an indication how much I really, really like ZU-B health drink!!

Malibu Sauna

Remember the traditional Finnish saunas otherwise known as rock saunas, or perhaps the steam saunas?  

I do!  

Well, after 40 years we sure have come a long way!!  Today we're seeing new technologies employing far infrared light (thermal energy) in health care products for detoxification and even cancer treatment.  

Side Note: Far Infrared heat is energy that is equivalent to the sun's radiant heat, minus the skin damaging, harmful UV rays.   Have you ever noticed when the sun is behind a cloud you don't feel as warm, especially on a cold day, it's that safe part of the spectrum of light emanating from the sun that is far infrared.  Incubators for newborns are based off of far infrared heat as it helps keep them warm. 

So, for the past 3 to 4 months, I've been researching, diligently various types of saunas.  You know me :o/  Once I'm set on something, there's a 90% chance I'm going to follow thru once I've made up my mind.  Of course, with hubby's acknowledgment, approval and consent :o) (If you envision something long enough, eventually it will come true...Right?)

As always, I don't usually go with the most expensive or the cheapest.  I'm not inclined to buy something because of it's name, but still want quality and a lifetime warranty from a reputable company.  It actually took less than a week to receive our sauna and according to hubby, less than an hour and a half to install.  I decided to go with West Coast Saunas due to the fact their saunas are carbon based; it's heat therapy with Carbon Wave 360.  It allows for up to 3X the sweat volume produced compared to a traditional sauna without feeling overly hot, and has the ability to penetrate deep into the subcutaneous tissues of your body for greater healing. 

Here are some stats I found to be interesting on Far-Infrared Saunas.  This list is not all inclusive:

Detoxifies - 7x more effective at detoxifying metals as well as cholesterol, nicotine, alcohol, ammonia, sulfuric acid and other environmental toxins.

Increases Blood Flow - expands capillaries in the body, which stimulates increased blood flow, circulation, and oxygenation.

Increases Metabolism - burns calories by increasing your metabolism and core temperature.  Also breaks down cellulite, trapped water and fat.

Relaxes Muscles - reduces soreness on nerve endings and muscle spasms as joints and fibers are heated.  Great for fibromyalgia and arthritis.

The Malibu sauna also comes with Chromotherapy.  Light therapy is another facet of healing.  Currently, I like to use purple for my allergies and sinuses.  Purple is also popular in glass stained windows you see often in churches.  With the system I have, you can have all the colors rotate in order to benefit from all the colors.

Overall, I am really pleased and in a week's time have seen great improvement with my post nasal drip (secondary to all my allergies) and the texture of my skin.

Virgin Coconut Oil

So, yesterday I received a 32 oz / 960 ML sample of Virgin Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions.  I had bought other coconut oil in the past and was not that impressed.  But here again it's knowing what to look for as there's good and bad in everything, to include water, sugar, salt, oil, protein, cholesterol, food, etc.  

I'm so glad  I've become a Twitterer (if there is such a word), as this is where I started to learn about the benefits of organic coconut oil.  If you have a blogsite and/or are very popular with a respectable amount of "followers" and "friends" on Twitter and Facebook, or any other social network, I highly recommend requesting a free sample of this amazing oil.

In addition you get a free book that does a great job of explaining what coconut oil is, it's numerous health benefits, and countless testimonies.  I consider it to be more of a reference book as you don't have to read it in chronological order.  You can jump to whatever chapter is of interest to you.  The one that jumped out at me was the chapter about the benefits of using coconut oil for "thyroid health," especially because I tend to have cold hands and feet all the time.  You see I use my hubby all the time as a health gauge.  He is so remarkably in balance with his health after being a smoker for 30+ years.  (I believe all those years of smoking were compensated by the fact he ate a ton of fruit.)  Anyway, if he isn't cold, then I know something is up with me, which in this case is my low thyroid.  The book also contains over 85 recipes where you can incorporate this healthy oil in lieu of your conventional oil in your diet. 

Furthermore, if you slather it on your skin, you'll benefit from this oil, not only externally but internally.  Your skin is the largest organ and so I suggest being cognizant of everything that comes in contact with your skin.  Or you can be like my hubby and don't use anything, especially mineral oil, a common ingredient found in many lotions and creams.  Albeit he's 12 years older than me, if you were to look at the texture, elasticity, and firmness of his skin, it's remarkably in good condition compared to mine :o/

Anyway, when I first opened the jar, I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh, light-smelling, pure even, aroma of coconut.  (You see the other coconut oil I purchased a year ago smelled like nothing.)  This Virgin Coconut Oil smelled so good, I actually took a tablespoon and scooped some out to try.  And it actually tasted pretty good.   While I was at it, I also applied the oil all over my body and my face.  Later that evening, Soph told me my skin felt very soft, almost as soft as Vivika's baby soft skin.  She was right, I couldn't stop touching myself (especially my hands... just to clarify :o/) AND Sophie's skin was a lot smoother and satiny; she tends to have very dry skin on her legs and arms, like me.

I still have a lot to learn about this incredible oil.  I can only imagine it's going to be another good thing that will REPLACE all my other oils I use for cooking.

This Old Grout

After trying out several grout sealants, and always being disappointed, I finally found a product that is just TOO GOOD to not share.  I found out about it almost 5 years ago when we lived in Mesa, AZ.  

If you hate house cleaning as much as I do, but yet like to have a clean and spotless house, then this product will help reduce the amount of time spent on cleaning anywhere you have tiles.  

It is a color seal that not only colors your grout giving it a contiguous and uniform appearance, but seals it for 15 years.  Once it's applied, using a toothbrush, all you have to do to maintain your floor for example, is use warm water.  Having a 5 year old, 2 big dogs and a man in the house, I've already discovered that it's quite impervious to grape juice, pomegranate juice, grease, mud, oil, dirt, etc.  And even if you have an area of high traffic, this sealant is so easy to use, just reapply and everything looks good as new.  I once had to reapply to an area where Sophie decided to copy me and use the permanent markers to color the grout ;o/  The color seal hides everything.  

This product is really amazing and does an outstanding job of transforming the look of old and dingy looking grout back to new again; unfortunately you can not find it in home improvement stores.  It has to be ordered on-line www.thisoldgrout.com.  Or you can call them in Chandler, AZ at 1-866-OLD-GROUT.  You might also be lucky to find this product at a tile retail store, however, I was not that successful here in SLC, besides most tile stores were not even aware of this product.

We've been in our house in Utah for almost 3 years and the grout still looks great.
