Daddy's Little Dividend

For the last two years, whenever I ask Sophie what she wants to be when she grows-up, without hesitation she says she wants to be an Artist and paint pretty pink flowers. Again, I just asked her right now and surprise, surprise, she still wants to be a painter ;o/

Of course, every parent wants their child(ren) to not only have values and be responsible, happy, healthy individuals but to have the skills to become successful in whatever their little hearts desire. As Vince pointed out, the problem with being an artist (i.e. painter), you usually don't make any money until after your dead and gone.

Having a child really is the ultimate personal growth experience. Vince and I never know what challenges await us around the next bend. I sure hope next year Sophie will decide on a new profession.....for Daddy's sake.
