Soph finally did it! Today, she was able to jump to the high bar and swing without any assistance. She's made some remarkable improvements since last week.
So funny, for weeks it looked as if she wasn't getting anywhere with her skills. And then all of sudden things are finally clicking.
I believe she's gaining more confidence and it's showing.

I'm a quirky ordinary wife & mother to a perfect little girl (what else would you expect me to say?).
Our daughter, Sophie is a very sweet, well behaved 9 y/o. To date, I would classify her as being a highly sensitive child as she's reserved, reflective, focused and can become easily over stimulated. I guess she gets that from both me and her father. She keeps me hopping, challenging me with all her questions and comments.
The mantra I live by for the most part is, "it's better to be safe than sorry, than to live and learn" and "stay connected." So, I'm always seeking ways to enhance the quality, not only of my own life, but the life of my little family and to stay connected with the ones I love.
I am truly fortunate to be able to stay at home to take care of our family. It has allowed me to become happily domesticated in ways I never would have thought possible.
